John Mullins, Professional Greyhound Trainer

Welcome to the website of Dillymore Kennels, home of John Mullins and his team.

John Mullins has a lifetime of experience in all aspects of greyhound racing and breeding. He is considered by many to be one of the top trainers in the country.  John and his wife, Debbie, have impressive facilities at Dillymore Kennels, Capel St Mary in beautiful Constable Country on Essex\Suffolk border, having moved here a number of years ago and having purpose brick built kennels erected.

About John Mullins

John Mullins is basically a shy unassuming character. He was born in Gloucester on 22nd October 1964 to parents Pat and Linda Mullins. He was born into a life revolved around greyhounds.  His father died at a young age leaving his mother Linda to take over the business. She herself became a prolific trainer whose achievements speak for themselves.

John took over the licence in 2001 when his mother retired.

John is attached to Yarmouth Greyhound Stadium for the kennel's graded runners and will travel to any track in the UK with his open racers.

The key to success is entering the correct dogs at the correct tracks over the most suitable race distance and John will always listen to the opinion of his owners but will always do what is best for the racing greyhound.

John has contacts in the UK and Ireland to source the owners needs of the particular greyhound required.  Please feel free to call or e-mail John for advice or recommendations.

Kennel visits are welcome by prior arrangement, please contact John to arrange your visit to Dillymore where you will be made to feel at home by the wonderful staff on hand.
